Oftentimes in life the best are taken way too soon. Meriam's spirit was a blessing to all who knew her. Her love of her children, and her family in Butag was immeasurable. I remember in one of our last conversations how happy she was with her return to college. She initially expressed fear, but like with many things in her life, she pushed through it for the betterment of herself and the lives of her family. May she now rest in peace.

I will miss you Meriam. You and I have laughed and learned from each other over the years. We grew closer from raising our children too. I know no one else who could brighten up and fill the room with such joy and happiness. I will never forget you. I will cherish our time together and know that you'll continue to watch over us. I will love you always.
