Kristin Hambleton Obituary

NEWPORT NEWS - Kristin Leigh Hambleton, 26, passed from this life to her eternal destiny on January 31, 2015, being welcomed to her heavenly home by her Savior Jesus Christ. She is deeply missed by her family and many friends, but we look forward to our future reunion in heaven. Kristin was born in Petersburg, Virginia and was a resident of Newport News. She was a registered nurse at Riverside Regional Medical Center and a member of Waters Edge Church in Newport News. She is survived by her husband of 5 years, Joseph Hambleton; sons, Jason and Noah; father, Ray Holland; mother, Carolena Lawrence (Paul); brothers, Jonathan Holland and Michael Holland (Lisa), step-brother, Jonathan Holman; grandmother, Rosemary Holland; aunt, Darlene Byrum; uncle, Michael Lane; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 pm, Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Victory Life Church, 1741 West Queen Street, in Hampton. A celebration of Kristin's life will follow at 2:30 pm. Interment will at 11 am Monday, February 9, at Parklawn Memorial Park. Friends are encouraged to visit www.parklawn-woodfh.com to share memories and words of condolence with the family. Arrangements are under the care of Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 N. Armistead Avenue, Hampton, VA.
