June 5, 1917- June 30, 2007
Mark Robert Ingli, age 90, passed away Monday, July 30, 2007 in Bonny Doon, CA after a courageous battle with a sudden illness. He was 90. He will be dearly missed by his family. Mark was born on June 5, 1917 in Plum City, Wisconsin. He moved to Santa Cruz in 1951. He worked for Dudley Machinery in Greenfield and Santa Cruz. He later started Markco Drilling Co.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Emma Ingli and by his 9 brothers and sisters, including his twin sister Dorothy.
He was a loving father to Roger Mahutga and wife Barbara of Santa Cruz; loving grandfather to Christine Cohen and husband Bob, James Mahutga, Cory Montanez and husband Erwin, Jeff Mahutga and wife Tammy, all of Santa Cruz. He was a wonderful great-grandfather to Nick, Ashtyn, Erica, Lexi, Rachel, Michael, Mariah & unborn babys Kammera and Benjamin Mark, all of Santa Cruz. He is also survived by his Nephew, Jerry Ingli and wife Patty, of Ellsworth WC, and Gary Ingli of Plum City, Wisconsin. He has many nieces and nephews in Wisconsin. He was a wonderful friend to many.
Mark served in the US Army during WWII. Mark loved to go to the Santa Cruz Flea Market where he had many friends. He also witched wells, and drilled a lot of the wells in the Fern Flat area in Aptos. Mark was very intelligent and loved to build things with his machinery. Mark loved to help the grandchildren in fixing their bikes etc. Mark also loved to have his daily beer, which he enjoyed up until his time of death.
At Marks request, the family will celebrate his life in a private ceremony at the Mahutga residence in Bonny Doon on August 26th, 2007 at 1:00 PM, please email [email protected] for more info.
Papa Mark will be truly missed and never forgotten. He will live in our hearts forever.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a contribution to Santa Cruz Hospice in Mark Ingli's name.
