GERALDINE BOMMARITO Geraldine "Geri" Bommarito, 58, of Toquerville, Utah, passed away March 19, 2014. She had a very amazing life. She was vice president of convention sales at the MGM Hotel and was an accomplished artist who had sold many pieces. Entrepreneur extraordinaire Geri by herself created, "Sicilian Secret" soap, lotions and body care products which are still popular today and even became a nail stylist. You cannot mention Geri without remembering her beloved Bichon dog, "Angel," who was her best friend and never left her side. She was an expert on history particularly the Renaissance era England and Shakespeare. Her knowledge of film and film history taught us all. Art and artists were Geri's first passion. She believed art was an important part of life and professed it by living as such. Geri adored her family and left the MGM to take care of her mother and sister in her home before they passed away. Geraldine was a great Christian who lived her beliefs. Geri is irreplaceable in our hearts. "Everyone in Toquerville, Las Vegas, Michigan, and Arizona` will never forget you. Our hearts are broken. We loved you so much and will miss you until we see you again." Geraldine will be buried next to her beloved sister, Grace. "Goodbye little sis, we will all be together again someday, Angel too." Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Maime Bommarito; and sister, Grace Bommarito. She is survived by her brother, Ted Bommarito; sister-in-law, Marquerite Bommarito; nephews, Joseph and Matthew Bommarito; and "Angel." Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, with services following, both at Palm Mortuary Eastern, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas. Burial following at Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

My heartfelt condolences go out to Geri's family. There is no way I can begin to imagine your grief. I miss my sweet dear friend. She was generous, talented, smart and funny. My visits to Southern Utah won't be the same without being able to stay with Geri and Angel.

I am very sorry for the loss of you sister, aunt, neighbor and friend. I got to know Geri a couple of years ago as she rented space at Peach Days here in Hurricane, Utah to sell her line of beauty products. We had both lived in Las Vegas and had known some of the same people there. she was a very nice person and we had planned to get together and "talk" more. I know that this whole community will miss her and feel bad about her passing. May our Lord bless you all with peace and clarity on her passing. It is very hard to lose those you love.
