James Jim Henry Cook
8/14/1951-3/2/2015
James, Jim, Henry Cook passed away on March 2nd, 2015. Like his namesake, the famous explorer, he died a tragic death at the hands of Hawaiian natives when he too tried to kidnap the king of Hawaii. We all told him it was a bad idea, but (as usual) he didn't listen to our good advice.
Jim leaves behind a legacy of humor, restored cars and amazing classic rock cover songs. He is survived by; his daughters Kelly Clark and her husband Scott and Allison Cook-Perez and her husband Jason Perez, his six grandchildren Katelyn, Alexander, David Andrew, Benjamin, Sebastian and Finn, and his siblings Robin Harter, William Cook and Matthew Salomon.
In lieu of an immediate memorial, his ashes will be scattered on his birthday at sunrise on the LBI beach. Condolences and memorial inquiries can be sent to his family via jamescookmemo [email protected].

Love you Jim. I miss you. Your life and death taught me many lessons. I wish now I took the opportunity to express my appreciation more often to you. Death is often too sudden, leaving the survivors with regret and loose ends. I hope you are with Dad now enjoying the afterlife together, all to yourselves.
