Megan Carolyn Wood CHARLOTTE - Megan, 30, passed away unexpectedly Feb. 9, 2014, in Racine, Wisconsin. Services celebrating her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24, 2014, at New Charlotte Church, 11011 Monroe Road, Matthews, NC 28105. Megan was dearly loved by many and will be cherished forever. Her laughter, compassion, and sweetness is a loss for the world. Her family knows they will be together again one day. In Charlotte, Megan is survived by her mother, Laurie and stepfather Randall Bell, and her brothers, Cole and Mac. In Montgomery, Ala. her survivors include her father, Timothy Ray Wood and half sister Rae Lee Wood. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that online memorials in memory of Megan be sent to Doves Nest in Charlotte. Arrangements are in the care of Heritage Funeral Home, Weddington Chapel. Megan was a brief, but dear friend of mine here in wisconsin. I will never forget her. I tried to help her, and wish i could have been a better friend. I miss u Meegon!!!!! :) She was my roomate at Halo, and now i know she is wearing one.GOODBYE YOU FREEBIRD!
