Bryson T. Hathaway
2000 ~ 2018
Bryson Thomas Hathaway born on March 5, 2000 ready for life. Passed away unexpectedly in a tragic car accident on February 14, 2018 at the young age of 17. The loss of Bryson has and will forever leave an unfillable void in our hearts. If you knew Bryson, you knew his unconditional love and kindness of his amazing and powerful soul. In 17 short years Bryson touched more lives than the average person would touch in 10 lifetimes. Bryson loved that his life was just starting and that new and exciting adventures were ahead. What Bryson lacked in size for so many years, he made up for with courage, determination and the willingness to never give up. Being on a baseball or football field was Bryson's home. Being with his teammates was like being home with his family. From Bryson's addictive smile to his unique eyebrows his spirit will live on. Bryson's unconditional love for his family was an example to us all in how to treat others. Bryson was an amazing brother to his siblings, a son we are so proud of, a grandson who would do anything for his grandparents, and a cousin who loved to spend time with them, a nephew that would always put a smile on their face. Though Bryson is gone, he will never be forgotten. We will miss your smile, your jokes, your laughter, your sport stat updates and your hugs. We are excited for that day we get to see you again. Bryson will be united with his brother Turk who he named and his sister Sofia and many other opening arms from little Gramps, Hannah, Porter and David.
We love you, your Dad and Mom, Marissa, Kinsley, and Kershaw
Our family would love to express the appreciation for the amount of support that we have received at this difficult time. It has been overwhelming.
We will be celebrating Bryson's life Tuesday, February 20th 6:00pm-9:00pm Larkin Mortuary in Riverton. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 21st at 12:00pm at Herriman High Auditorium with visitations prior to the services from 9:30am-11:30am.

My heart is breaking for you all as you deal with the loss of Bryson. He was such a light. Such a great kid. I have some many fond memories of watching him grow up at Summit Academy. I loved having him in my class as a student. And I loved watching him hang out with his sisters after school. Miss Turek and I had a long talk the other night as we shared memories of Bryson and your family.
My prayers are with you during this difficult time. Love, Miss King

Bryson was always there for anyone and everyone. His laugh and smile lit the whole room up. He gave the warmest hugs and was so good with his little siblings. Any activity with food around you could count him there. He was an amazing athlete and just a great person. His family has endured so many heart breaks and shouldn't have to go through this. We love you bryson. you will never be forgotten.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Bryson's accident. I cannot begin to imagine the grief you are experiencing. Bryson was a peer tutor in my class at Oquirrh Hills. I remember his smile and kind nature. May you take comfort in knowing the impact he had on others in his short time on earth.

Dear Coach Hathaway and family,
I am deeply sorry for your loss. I did not know your son, but worked with Coach Hathaway for a couple years at PH. As a coach and colleague, he showed that he is an amazing teacher with a kind heart toward all the students at the school, so I cannot imagine Bryson not following in his father's footprints.
I hope that your family and friends through prayers and love will get you through this difficult time.
I will forever keep Bryson and your family in my prayers.
Sincerely,
Victoria Talebreza

Chris and family,
We are deeply saddened with the news of the tragic accident that took Bryson's life far too early. Our prayer is that God will sustain you through these difficult days and for all the days ahead.
We have fond memories of watching Bryson playing baseball with our grandson Ben Lisk and for the wonderful job you did with all the kids on that team. It was a joy to watch.

Breaks my heart. I knew him for so long. Anyone who knew him knew his uncontrollable exuberance. I cannot recall a time where he wasn't smiling-or when anyone in his presence wasn't either. We miss you.

I never met or talked to him personally, but I do remember seeing him around the halls at school. Though he was just a stranger, it still breaks my heart because even after graduating, I look back on how contagious his smile was and how often I wished to have his exuberance. Fly high man. You will be missed
