I will always love the character "David" that you played in the Shirley MacLaine film called Out On A Limb. I hope the role you played has become your new reality. It is comforting to think that no one really dies. Hope to meet you someday in heaven and walk with you in Peru, share the hot tub and play on the beach together in Malibu. I adore you John.

So sorry to learn of John Heard's passing. May the memories of loving good times past serve to comfort you during this most difficult time. Peace be with you always. He will always be with you, kept safe in a special place in your heart.

Rest in peace john great actor

I am glad he lived long enough to see his co-star from Home Alone 2 become President. It must have been a really exciting moment for him. RIP

I remember John Heard as a very handsome leading man in Ann Beatie's "Chilly Scenes of Winter", initially release in Ocover 1979 as "Head Over Heels", Directed by Joan Macklin Silver. It was love at first sight for me. Gloria Graham plays his alcoholic, bi-polar mother. Peter Riegert as his best friend. Heard was as intelligent as he was good looking and a very fine actor. Watch Cutter's Way. On Broadway in 1983 he starred in a very difficult role as the grieving father...

I would like to express my deepest condolences to the family for their loss of a talented man. I enjoyed watching him in his different movies. He will be missed. I hope you find comfort and help in God during this time of sorrow.
