I just loved you, Chris. I only got to discover you from afar, on Project Runway, but you still influenced me greatly. You are a special light, you are important. I’m so glad you got to do what you loved in life, because in turn you’ve left a mark of connection in this world. You are loved and cherished and missed.

I bought the white 2010 Oscar gown Chris designed for Meryl Streep at auction some time ago. I collect historical items of all kinds and from all eras, and this wonderful gown is among the highlights of my collection. Chris, I wish that I had had the opportunity of meeting you. Rest assured that your creation is in good hands.

God is a God of all Comfort and he will Comfort the family's..My condolence...

Such a talented designer gone too soon. Chris designed a lot of fascinating gowns for many important people that must have given him great confidence. These accomplishments must have also been very rewarding. May Chris family receive all of the condolences and prayers to aid them as they grieve.
