On May 21, 2016 Thomas C. "Tom" VanPoppel, owner of Maryland Performance Specialities, Inc.; beloved husband of Jeanne VanPoppel (nee Antulov); devoted father of Lisa M. VanPoppel and Brian T. VanPoppel and wife Kati; loving grandfather of Troy "T.J." VanPoppel; dear brother of Adrian P. VanPoppel and wife Nancy; son-in-law of Jeanne B. Dixon.
Relatives and friends will gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair Rd., Nottingham MD 21236, on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m., with a memorial service at 8:00 p.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to DRAW (Drag Racing Association of Woman) or White Marsh Volunteer Fire Co., 5419 Ebenezer Rd., White Marsh MD 21162.
